Min Kyi was born in Henzada, Burma in 1940. He studied the basic principles of
painting under the master artist, U Kyee Sein. His impressionistic city and
country scenes led to his having the nickname "Out-door Min Kyi." His
work has been exhibited extensively at home and abroad and can also be found in
the National Museum in Rangoon.
