Myoe Win Aung
Myoe Win Aung was born in Yangon in 1972 and
graduated from the State School of Fine Arts in 1992. He subsequently
studied under U Lun Gywe, U Kyaw Lay, U Mya Aye and U Thit Lwin Soe. He
has been an active member with The Golden Valley Art Centre since 1992.
His work has also been exhibited in Singapore, Thailand, and more recently
with Art Asia NYC in New York. |
Khin Maung Zaw
Khin Maung Zaw was born in Myeik, Myanmar in 1970 and
graduated from the State School of Fine Arts in painting in 1991 and in
sculpture in1994. He subsequently studied under U Lun Gywe, U Tin Aye, U
Myint San, U Thit Lwin Soe and U Myint Lwin. He has been an active member
with the Golden Valley Art Centre since 1991. His work has also been
exhibited in Singapore, Thailand and more recently with Art Asia NYC in
New York. |
Zaw Zaw
Aung
Zaw Zaw Aung was born in 1971 in the town of Danubyu and graduated from the
Yangon (Rangoon) School of Fine Arts in 1990. His work is realistic and depicts
scenes from daily life with some focus on Buddhist themes. He is one of the most
highly regarded young artists in Burma and has exhibited extensively overseas
and at home. |
Shine
Lu Shine Lu was born in Paungde in 1959 and studied for a number of years at the
Yangon (Rangoon) School of Fine Arts. He has participated in numerous
exhibitions since 1993 and was an award winner in the 2001/2002 Philip Morris
Myanmar Art Awards. His work is also part of the collection at the National
Museum in Rangoon.

Soe Soe (Laputta)
Soe Soe (Laputta) was born in Rangoon in 1967 and attended the School of Fine
Arts from 1989 to 1991. His work has been shown in local exhibitions as well as
in Singapore. Soe Soe's paintings mostly reflect daily life in Burma. |

Min Kyi Min Kyi was born in Henzada, Burma in 1940. He studied the basic principles of
painting under the master artist, U Kyee Sein. His impressionistic city and
country scenes led to his having the nickname "Out-door Min Kyi." His
work has been exhibited extensively at home and abroad and can also be found in
the National Museum in Rangoon.

Maung Aw
Maung Aw was born in 1945 and studied for years under the master artist, U Thein
Han. His work has been exhibited extensively overseas: Australia, China, Korea,
and Singapore, and can also be found in collections from Europe to the United
States. His work is impressionistic and possesses a unique sense of color and
composition, with subjects taken from daily life in Burma. |
Khin Maung Bo
Khin Maung Bo was born in Rangoon in 1957 and is a graduate of Yangon
University. He studied under master artists U Thein Han and U Lun Gywe. He has
exhibited extensively at home and abroad since 1978.

Hla Phone Aung Hla Phone Aung was born in Sin Phyu Kyun, in 1966. He studied under several
master artists, including U Lun Gywe and U Kyaw Lay, among others. His work has
been shown overseas, as well as at home, to critical acclaim. The Philip Morris
Myanmar Art Awards for 2001/2002 most recently recognized him for his work,
"Inner Peace."

Aye
Min
Aye Min was born in 1969 and graduated from the Yangon (Rangoon) School
of Fine Arts in 1992. He also studied under master artists, U Lun Gywe
and U Tin Aye. His work has been in numerous national and overseas
exhibitions. This past March 2012 Aye Min had a sols show of his
watercolor paintings of Yangon architecture at the Trish Gallery in Yangon
and the entire collection sold on the opening day. |

Aung Kyaw Htet Aung Kyaw Htet was born in Myaungmya, Burma in 1965. He studied at the
Yangon (Rangoon) School of Fine Arts after working on a riverboat for
years in order to save enough money for his art education. Aung Kyaw
Htet is a devout Buddhist and often paints scenes involving religious
life in Burma, as well as paintings of general life that possess a
strong sense of harmony and balance. His work is now exclusively
shown at the Thavibu Gallery in Bangkok. He has become one of Myanmar's
most successful artists.

K.Kyaw
K. Kyaw was born in Rangoon in 1967 and graduated from the Yangon (Rangoon)
School of Fine Arts in 1988. He participated in numerous exhibitions since 1990
and his work is part of the collection at the National Museum in Rangoon. His
painting "The Heart and Peace of ASEAN" was selected for an award in
the 2001/2002 Philip Morris Myanmar Art Awards. |
